Community Masternodes?

What is a Community Masternode?
How do they work?
What is so great about them?
Should I join one?

These are the things that everyone asks theirselves when they hear the words community masternodes. As fellow masternode enthusiasts we wanted to see if we couldn't help answer some of these questions.

What is a Community Masternode?

It's just what it sounds like- when the community of fellow coin stakers get together to start one masternode and split the profits, that's a community masternode. The best comparison is a Mining Pool, except this is for the Staking Network.

How do they work?

While I know of only one service that does community masternodes currently- and that service is still curently in beta testing. From what I have seen, however, everyone deposits coins into their system and once they hit a coin's MN total, they spin up a Masternode for that coin. From there, as payout comes, those coins get split to each user.

What is so great about them?

As of right, now we don't actually know. I would assume it could help the small investor get a larger output of coins than they could if they were staking alone.

Should I join one?

Really, that is up to you. Do your research and check out the services. Personally, however, I think these are the next best thing in the MasterNode System.
